This process is SO S...L...O...W!

In the meantime, I am posting a few before/after changes we have made.

Picture 1 - Note the light/fan...fan broke

Project post #13....

The grouting begins.....

The grouting complete in this room (still wet). Take note of the wall behind the toilet....

We had to plaster it because too much wallboard was showing...another snag. Grout is dry!

Brent completed cutting and gluing the tiles for this room and is ready to grout (maybe tonight).

We obviously didn't reach out goal of completion this last weekend but the end is near.

A Snag....

has been hit! I was so close to be able to wash clothes today! The valves are leaking! Luckily (not really), the plumber has to come put the toilet back on... so he will be fixing this problem also! *Sigh* another trip to the laundry mat!

(Brent is very handy...but he does not do plumbing)

BTW, the room is coming along great! You will just have to wait another day for progress picks!

Spring has sprung...

Hayden is out of town for the weekend and Brent is working on the remodel (he kicked me out), so I went out on this beautiful day and got a glimpse at Spring!
Hopefully tomorrow I will have some progress pictures to share...

Project post #12...

It was another dance competition weekend so we were gone and accomplished nothing! :-)
I am posting all the pictures from last weekend until right now! We will begin back tonight and our goal is to finish by Sunday! We are currently having rain (everyday since Friday) and this makes it very hard to pull out the wet saw and finish the tile. The weather should clear up by tomorrow and we can move forward! I have been holding out on the wallpaper until last but may go ahead and hang it tonight. We did go to Ikea this weekend and I got a few things namely lighting!
Just a few more days and it will be complete...(for the most part)
