Sammie...

This is our (almost) 16 year old dachshund! He is almost blind, deaf and partially paralyzed in the hind legs but he keeps on ticking! He is such a sweet old dog and I know his time left with us is limited!

The concert...

Tonight, I had the honor of taking Hayden to the Jonas Bros. concert in Charlotte. You have not lived until you have been to a concert full of screaming girls...deaf at a whole new level!

A first...

Today was the first time that Hayden was an Acolyte in church. Since it was probably not kosher to have the camera there for the big event, Brent took one with phone. It obviously doesn't have a zoom and I added the soft focus trying to highlight her.

Meet Russell...

As many of you know, I have been on a huge adventure the last 19 months to reduce my weight (by 60+ pounds) and the shape of my body (by 30+ inches). There have been 3 people involved in this process...myself, Brianna (my friend and first trainer) and Russell the trainer machine! He pushes me to levels I never thought I could reach! I may not be where I wanna be yet but I can do 150 push-ups and 500 crunches without batting an eye! :-) It's an amazing journey!

Wonderful....

We took Hayden and her friend, Kayla to New York in March for her birthday and we saw Mama Mia on Broadway! We loved it! For several months, we have all been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the film! Monday night we were all finally in town and could go to the show! It was AWESOME!!!! We all loved it!

Home Sweet Home...

After 19 hours of driving (it's a long story...don't ask), we made it back to SC. I then found my way back to my house yesterday after picking Hayden up in Columbia! It was a long journey but had many awesome rewards. The coming year will be fantastic! If you want to know more about the books I sell or want to ever earn extra income you should check out the link on the right side...My Usborne bookstore!

Day 5 - a BIG night.....

Tonight was the award nights of the convention. It is always a big night because you don't know whose going to win. I was pretty sure I might have earned one award but was shocked to learn that I actually earned two! It was very exciting!

Trip Adventure - Day 1

Today, Hayden and I came to Columbia to Molly's house. We took the children to Fort Jackson (yes, the military base). They have a water park that is open to the public during the week. We had a wonderful time.
Picture 1 - Pete in the water loops.
Picture 2 - Molly and Cal on the lazy river.
Picture 3 - Hayden sliding down the water slide.
Picture 4 - Cal playing in the water.
Picture 5 - The crew coming back from the slides.

Hayden will spend the rest of the week here with Molly and gang and I will be leaving early in the morning for Tulsa. I am riding with a group of girls and it will be a long one day trip! I am sure the adventure will be full of pictures!
