Back home...

I have returned from my 2 weeks away from home and have been thrown immediately into the reality of home the last few days! :-) I have lots of blog material and will have more with Thanksgiving already among us. Bear with me another few days and I will be back to my daily posts! Thanks for your support and may your family have a fantastic turkey day.....

Well it is complete and it only took five trips to the dump. No more white tile. Cannot wait to see the new tile down, you all are going to love it.

Well time for the next step in the mudroom remodel. Ripping up the tiles. I definitely have to say these come up much easier than they went down. Oh and BOOMER SOONER!!!!

Junior Beta Club

Back to the mudroom remodeling project. Stripping wallpaper now. Of course a 1 day job turns into a multi-day affair when you remember that the wallpaper your stipping was put down over the original wallpaper that is ATTACHED DIRECTLY TO THE WALLBOARD!!!!!

Missing Jill

Well we are missing Jill around the ole homestead this week and next, as she is out of town selling books. This is the show she is working at, wish her luck at selling lots of books. Daddy needs a new pair of shoes!

Since it is a teacher workday, we are out delivering Hayden's fund raiser stuff she sold in the neighborhood. It is a beautiful day!

Every 4 years...

I get the privilege as a citizen of the USA to vote. Today was that day! It will be a historical election for lots of reasons but it was probably the first time in the 7 Presidential elections that I have had the honor to cast my vote in that I was less then pleased with my choices. I hope that whoever is the new President tomorrow when I wake will do a good job and prove my doubts wrong.
