Valentines Day at school....

is today since they don't have school tomorrow! They have a school wide dance the last 1.5 hours of the day and everyone dresses up! We missed it last year because we were on vacation so Hayden was really excited! I thought she looked so pretty today so I snapped a couple of pictures of her...

It was a little chilly so I couldn't get her to uncross her arms.

We made treat bags for her class and teachers. They are so easy, so good......

We spent New Year's Eve at a Tattoo Parlor! Hayden was our 'artist' and Pete was her 'apprentice'! We all got one! Some got more then one....

Merry Christmas....

We were in Charlotte for Christmas this year and as always we have had a great time. I got a new camera for Christmas but will write more about that later. :-) In the meantime, I thought I would share a few pictures from the day and the camera.

It's beginning to look like Christmas....

Labor Day party...

Brent and I played host to the 1st annual neighborhood block party last night. We had about 16 houses show up with their side dishes, chairs and drinks and we provided the hot dogs. It was a great time. It has been nine years since the last neighborhood party so it was well received. I am very pleased and proud of our efforts. :-)

Invasion...

The second set of nephews/cousins are visiting this holiday weekend. Henry slept with Hayden last night and this is how I found them in her queen size bed!

Talent Show...

After dinner and before the fireworks, we were entertained by the children. This video is about 3 mins. but it is really funny. Each of the boys have their own little personalities and love their Hayden! Oh, you probably can't see it in the video but they all have make-up on (as in blue eye shadow)!

Fireworks show...

We came to Dad's (in Charlotte) for dinner and fireworks. We were on our way to the lake for the show and realized the neighbors were doing a very large fireworks show of their own so we just watched those....Brent was the camera man tonight and we got to use the 'fireworks' feature of the camera. They have some fun details if you enlarge them.
