The second set of nephews/cousins are visiting this holiday weekend. Henry slept with Hayden last night and this is how I found them in her queen size bed!
They LOVE their Hayden!

Choices...

Molly and the boys came for a couple of hours late yesterday afternoon to visit and get the boys photos taken (professionally that is..not by me) and this is how Hayden and Pete chose to spend their time together....in front of the tube vegging out!

Another bug...

Okay...not a great picture! I only had my phone with me and this booger moved quick! He was a large (1 inch) ant with a red and black velvet coat. I am sure we will all learn soon enough what it is... :-)

Just plain wierd....

Brent found it amazing that Sarah and I had the same noses (I'm not sure why that is amazing, we are sisters)!
I find it more amazing that I have so many wrinkles!!!!!

Picture 3: The south is known for the moss on the trees...here is a great example!
Picture 4: Okay so call me twisted...doesn't Henry look like he's getting a peep down her pants and liking it? :-)

Life....

the last 3 days has been hectic! I had my first booth of the fall and was consumed by it (as always)!
Below is a picture of my small by VERY productive 3 day booth....I have learned that with my busy fall coming that I need to have 'back-up' blog material because I don't like letting my readers down! :-) Truth be told, I miss blogging everyday!
P.S. If you see any books in the picture that you would like to own, just click on my Usborne Bookstore to the right! :-)

Bug of the week...(sorry Gramma)

Actually, it is a spider and it looked like a piece of corn! The camera could not focus on her because she was well camouflaged.
Memaw is out of town so it maybe days before we know what she is...
In the meantime, enjoy her beauty! :-)
Side note: Memaw (MIL) loves to research the bugs and Gramma(step-mom) can't stand to read about them. It's hard to keep all happy. The bug thing was really an accident but now I keep finding things I have never seen in my 42 years!

My kind of day...

I had school meetings today in a couple of different places so when I finished I hit my local grocery stores and Target for the clearance items! These are my favorite days...
*yes this is all stuff someone in my house will eat
*yes I checked the expiration dates
* yes I know it's not all Eco-friendly (I'm sure someone would say that)
Anyway, I got 68 items for under $50! Everything was at least 50% off(I did not pay over $1.50 for anything)!
BTW, I don't eat Ramen soup...I use the noodles in my salad!

I hate this day...

Twice a year I have to do a job I detest, cleaning out Hayden's closet of the clothes that no longer fit! Not only is it depressing but exhausting...I guess the cat doesn't want the clothes to go either!

Try this...it's fun!

You Are Tennis

You are highly competitive and driven.

You're in it to win, and you will keep going until you do.

You crave fame, success, and the envy of others.

This is who I am! I took this idea from a fellow blogger (thanks Kristie)! It seems like a fun idea! Click on the above link "What Olympic Sport are you?" and take the quick 5 question quiz and it will give you the results. Please share your results in the comment box! Have fun....

Butterfly central...

While we were in Helen on Saturday, I saw LOTS of butterflies! Of course the bug picture taker in me couldn't resist the opportunity to do some 'up close and personal' with my pals! The question is...will the bug researcher resist researching especially the yellow one! Enjoy...

Day Trip...

We took a trip to Helen, GA yesterday! It's a neat little German like town in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains.
Picture 1: a windmill
Picture 2: part of the village of shoppes
Picture 3: The purpose of the trip..to "tube the hooch"
(Chattahoochee River that is)
All of us at the beginning...ready to get on...it was the last time we were all together! (until the end)
Picture 4: Pete chillin....he was tethered to his Mom!
It took us 2 hours to ride down the river...it sure was fun!

2nd time around...

Tonight our friends took the plunge and tied the knot. This is a second marriage for both. It was a very nice service and I hope 8/8/08 is good to them! Congratulations Elizabeth and Darel!
