Our favorite game....
Let me know how you like it....
1) Hayden couldn't use her hands
2) Kayla had to keep a snorkel in her mouth the rest of the game made from something in the house hence the straw
3) Brent had to keep pointing to pretend objects on his forehead and asking if anyone knew anything about them
and 4) Brent and Kayla had to hold hands because they were sharing a space on the board
These are just a sampling of the crazy stuff you do!

Is it your turn?
When I cracked my head open in March, the first thing they did before anything else was give me my tetanus shot! Next month, it will have been 10 years since I got my last one! Now with that said, we realized that Brent was due also because we got ours on the same day that year. The story doesn't end yet because this is also the year that Hayden is due for hers also. As of this afternoon, I am proud to report that all 3 of us have now had our tetanus booster.
(I should also report that Hayden had an 11 year old well check up {okay, 7 months late} today and the results are that she is perfectly NORMAL! and healthy!!!! Just in case you were wondering!)
My question back to you...are you due?
No pics tonight...I was to busy holding the hand of the shot recipient! :-)

Harvest Hoe-Down Festival
Ok this is not the owner of this wonderful blog, but her dear husband. What follows is an adventure in picture, or what others might simply call the Harvest Hoe-Down Festival parade. We had just about everything you could think of in this parade. Enjoy.
Sidenote: We were at this festival out of town so Jill could do a book booth...
We have beauty queens!!! Her name was Hayden. We had lots of political stumping. Can you guess which side of the isle he is on?
We have a daughter having fun.
Another would-be politician. How can you not vote for a guy named Fonzie? We've got the Shriner big boys ;-).
We've got tuba players. We've got tiny little beauty queens.
We have lots of ROTC folks. Ah, teens with guns, always a good thing.
We have got great patriotic kids.
We have shameless capitalism.
We have old clowns on broken bikes. As I was saying earlier, teens with guns not always a great thing.
We have hillbillies.
I think they were actually in class and lost!!!
What better at a Hoe-Down parade, guys and their tractors!!!
Now that is a tractor. We even had the King in attendence.
I really don't know what to make of the Daredevils and their Hearse with a drive over ramp.
More hillbillies.
Big horses are always a parade favorite.
